Default Opera and Acrobat question

I use Opera as a browser. If I click on a link to a PDF, Opera launches Acrobat inside of the Opera interface with a limited number of controls. For example, it is missing the main menu. I have a vague recollect of a time when it launched as a separate application and I changed it to launch within Opera. But I don't remember how I did this.

Anyone know how to get Acrobat to launch as a separate application?
