Default Glue crack in laptop case

My laptop has a crack in the top of the case. It runs from where the left hinge is over the the edge of the computer. Because of opening and closing the lid, there is pulling at that point. IOW, I can see the crack get wider and narrower as I tilt the computer screen back and forth. I tried gluing with Super Glue but all but a small spot has already given way after only a few days.

Anyone know what will actually work? The strain on this location is that the crack will be pulled apart and pushed together as the screen moves.
