Default AKVIS AirBrush 2.0

I guess I'm slipping. I missed version 1.0. Or maybe the name didn't grab my attention.

Sort of hard to describe what this does. It is sold as a tool that will make your photo look air brushed. What it looks like to me is the result of the type of noise reduction algorithm that cleans, smooths, and makes curvy lines. It looks similar to Anisotropic Diffusion, which you can check out in Photoshop. It also looks similar to one of Topaz Labs photo cleaning tools set to full blast.

In a way, it's a different type of simplifier, and perhaps that's why they are are positioning it as a faux art tool.

Anyway, take a look here: http://akvis.com/en/airbrush/index.php

Too bad all these tools I've been posting about lately were not around when I needed them.
