I'm not sure if I can describe what's happening accurately but I'm going to give it a go...
In Explorer, I keep inadvertently MOVING stuff so that it disappears--I'm not sure if I'm deleting it or what. I'll have a file highlighted and I don't think I'm clicking the mouse button after I highlight but the file will disappear. The same thing can happen if I'm scrolling through a list of files in the right hand pane of Explorer. When I've actually opened Explorer, it's not a big deal--although VERY annoying--because I can just Edit > Undo it. The problem is really bad when let's say, I'm trying to save a Notepad file and I've clicked on Save As and need to navigate to the folder in which I want to save the file because in that Explorer view, I don't have the menu option Edit so I can Undo the inadvertent move. Has anyone else experieinced this? I can't figure out what I've done to make it think I want to move the file although I *think* it may be that I've moved the mouse just a little bit after I've highlighted the file and Windows 7 is taking that as a Move command. Thanks! Terrie |
