Default Font display in Chrome

The current version of Chrome (19) seems to have a real problem rendering some fonts on some pages. The blogs indicate people had issues with version 18, often rendering non-Western glyphs.

The problem I am seeing is entirely blurring. The screen shot is a pair of 500% enlargements of screen captures. The left is in Chrome, the right FireFox. The website is cooks.com.

System is Windows 7, 64 bit.

Is anyone else seeing this oddity?
