Default Web traffic out of line

I was just looking over a recent log report from my ISP and noticed that virginmedia.com accounted for something between 10 and 15% of total traffic for the period. Looking at page requests, their crawler's accounting for >10% of all page requests (google, by comparison, is under 1%).

Is anyone else seeing anything similar? Does anyone know what the heck they're DOING?

This seems WAY out of line.
