Default Firefox 7...

My past experience with Firefox had been that when you check for updates, it will show you updates for the particular version you are using. This apparently is no longer the case.

On my sister's new laptop which had Firefox 6 installed, I checked for updates and there was an update available so I chose to update and it didn't update to a point version of 6 but to Firefox 7! I'm not quite sure I like this approach and I can't remember whether the update info specified that it was totally new version of the software but I don't think it did which I do find annoying. I want to know the version number--I have a vague recollection of reading that this was mozilla's new approach but I may not be remembering corectly...
