Default Litforum becomes The Book Community

Just noted an announcement in the Literary Forum — in a couple of weeks, their name will become The Book Community.

The notice says that “literary” was too confining, academic, or off-putting, and the name change is proposed to help the forum attract new members (and, one supposes, to fit into the new CompuServe format, which uses community instead of forum in its names).

The new address will be:
http://community.compuserve.com/books

instead of:
http://community.compuserve.com/literary

Good God, it might even have suggested it might host some intelligent discussions.
