Default Sorry, everyone

Around lunchtime (EDT) today, our servers went down. They came back up around 7:30 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our host was embarrassed. A representative said:
This outtage affected thousands of providers in this facility, tens of thousands of servers and hundreds of thousands of websites. We have been equally as eager as you to receive information and a resolution from the colo4dallas facility.

Now power is restored you can rest assured we will be working with the facility to ensure they have an adequate plan in place to find out why redundant power (UPS and Generator) failed, and to ensure this issue cannot be allowed to occur again anytime in the future. …

We can only apologise for the inconvenience this major outtage must have caused to you, your website and your business.
We too apologize — for the outage and for our inability to let you know what was going on.
