Default Using QuarkXPress

I am helping a friend with an XPress-based project. Got a demo version of QXP 8 and am muddling along (like I haven’t yet figured out how to create and assign master pages!!).

As some of you will remember, I was never either a fan or a maven on XPress, but I am liking the clarity of the software — the interface seems to be more process-based and orderly than I remember.

Did get a third-party guide for the Kindle, so expect most mysteries will be resolved before I finish this little booklet layout.

But wondered if we have any XPress users here anymore (they used to be in the majority, but now it seems to be mostly InDesign).
