Default Godaddy-related Credit Card Scheme

Someone used the name of godaddy.com to try to place a fraudulent charge on my credit card. The reason I'm posting about this is it would be easy enough for any of us who use godaddy to assume a charge with their name on it is legit.

In my case the bank flagged this and notified me. I took a look and the charge and date didn't seem right. Not to mention that it's a credit card I don't use with godaddy.

In talking with my bank agent and looking at what happened, someone is doing a test authorization in the name of godaddy.com to see if they can get away with it. And if they do, they will probably come back later to make a real charge, possibly not using the godaddy name.
