Default Thunderbird questions...

Well...I finally got around to downloading and installing Thunderbird and it looks pretty cool. I let it import my mail settings from Netscape 7.2 that looks to have been done properly.

I created a new mail account for my mail.com account for which I'd had no incoming mail since Sunday--mail.com has somehow gotten with aol so that aol is handling the mail and boy! is is awful! which is why I downloaded Thunderbird--but I guess they completed the migration this afternoon because my incoming mail finally showed up which was a relief even if I can't stand the aol interface.

Anyway, somehow I have ended up with 2 mail.com Inboxes and I can't figure out why or how to get rid of the duplicate--if I right click the dup box, there is no "delete" option. Because Thunderbird is currently chugging away downloading all of my mail in the various folders so I'm going to let it continue to do that until everything is downloaded before I try getting rid of the duplicate Inbox.

Suggestions for both getting rid of the dup Inbox and for any good add-ons for Thunderbird?

Thanks...

Terrie
