Default Fontlab, Fontographer in Snow Leopard

To run in the Mac’s new Snow Leopard OS (10.6), Fontlab products (among some others) require Rosetta, which is not installed by default with the OS.

Rosetta is available, however: Choose Customize during the installation, and enable Rosetta. (It is installed by default in earlier OS X versions.) Or wait until you are advised that Rosetta is required for some app you are trying to launch, and click on Install.

BTW: Fontlab’s Ted Harrison writes that Fontographer 5 is coming out soon! He suggests keeping an eye on the company’s FOG page, but there is no information there now.

I have a beta copy of FOG 5, installed in June 1998. I can hardly wait to see the real thing!
