Default How to open a large log file?

All of a sudden, I have been asked to provide SIP2 access details from the log of a server that's been running since July 2006.

I've got the log, but uncompressed it's 6.9 gigs. I managed to copy it to a network drive and tried to open it with TextPad at work, but that choked on it, so I zipped it and brought it home to open with BBEdit, which also choked on it.

Oh, and it's an Apache log. As it's the only log I have for the server, I'm assuming the SIP2 access details will be included along with everything else.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get at the stuff inside this file?

Thanks.
