Default Ray Larabie interview

The new MyFonts “creative character” interview is with Ray Larabie, and it makes great reading. You may remember Larabie’s free fonts from the old CompuServe days — we posted many of them. Kind of rough and ready (as he mentions himself in the article), but also among the best free fonts around at the time.

Now Larabie runs Typodermic type foundry, and his display fonts are seen in all sorts of publications and web sites. In the interview he explains how he developed an interest in fonts and how his views — and skills — have changed over time.

Definitely worth a look-see.
