Default RegEx help

I have a large document I'm converting from Word. It was poorly constructed so the conversion has been challenging. There are many spacing issues, the worst of which a couple hundred numbered figures have no space after the figure number and the following text, i.e., Figure 123.This is the caption.

I have a RE that will search for the text correctly, but I'm having trouble with the replace string. My RE is Figure [0-9]{1,3}.

I need the replace string to put the number back but include a space after the period. None of the online references I Googled clearly explain using the \1 or somesuch. Some input would be appreciated.
