Default Filter Forge for Mac Released

Quote:
Alexandria, VA, USA (March 31, 2009) – After a successful beta test, Filter Forge, Inc. today released the long-awaited Mac OS X version of Filter Forge, an innovative high-end plugin for Adobe Photoshop allowing computer artists to build their own filters, and announced a special 30% discount for both Windows and Mac versions of Filter Forge.
I have used the Windows version to create special effects on photos, and I was pleased with what I could do. One thing to keep in mind is that Filter Forge does not create standalone filters. The filters must be run from within Filter Forge. You can run Filter Forge from the Photoshop (or similar) filter menu, or launch it as an application.

If you download the filter called Sketch and Color, notice the name of the author.
