Default Google settles lawsuit.

Google has an agreement with the Authors Guild and the Association of American Publishers to end their legal battles and make the books Google has been scanning available. Google will pay $125 million dollars to settle the lawsuit, and agree to make payments as the books are made available online.

There are many articles online about this agreement. Here, for example: http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/nov...

It seems like good news for everyone involved, but maybe I am missing something. What do you think?
