Default Windows Firewall vs ... the others?

I see that lots of people use various software firewalls (ZoneAlarm, Kerio, etc) but I'm curious ... why?

I use one mainly because I feel more secure knowing that the firewall's going to shout about outbound traffic as well as inbound. As I understand it, the WinXP/SP2 firewall only protects against inbound traffic.

Another obvious reason for using a software firewall instead of XP's: you use Win2000 or another pre-XP version of Windows and don't have a built-in firewall.

What other reasons am I missing?
