Default Acrobat 8 vs Acrobat 9

I just bought a new computer, and at the same time, I ordered the Acrobat Pro upgrade to V8 (I have Pro 7 installed on the computer that's being replaced).

The same day that Acrobat shipped, Adobe announced Acrobat 9.

I'm looking for advice from others to determine whether the change from 8 to 9 is significant enough to argue with the vendor (to convince it to take back 8 and give me 9). I saw that Flash objects can be embedded into a PDF with 9, but I can't see I'll ever need that feature.

Would I miss any other new features if I install 8 instead of fighting the battle to try to get 9? ...thanks!
