Default Is there DIY Letraset?

Clearing out a cupboard this morning I cam across some Letraset stick-down lettering which set me to wondering whether any similar product still exists.

More to the point, I'm wondering if there's any product available that would allow me to create my own stick-down lettering that would work on surfaces such as card, glass and wood.

I did find a product a while ago but it was a complicated procedure involving floating things in turpentine - nothing like as easy as rubbing down a few bits of Letraset.
