Default Name that drug

Today I saw a TV commercial for a new drug for acid reflux disease.

It's called Aciphex. At first I thought it was a parody (a la Saturday Night Live's Triopenin), but it's real. You can look it up.

Didn't anyone in their marketing department say it out loud before they chose the name? Who's gonna walk into a drugstore and ask the clerk if he/she has Aciphex?
