Default Edit WinXP kerning values?

I've lately been using some of the Vista fonts, because some people at work have Office 2007, and when I downloaded the free Office 2007 compatibility pack for my Office 2003 suite, the fonts came with it.

I like Calibri pretty well but somebody wacko did the kerning. It's not just that things like 1/19/07 come out kerned WAY too tight; a simple "ng" (as in every bloomin' "ing") is too tight.

So: How do I edit kerning values for a TrueType font on Windows?

I know, I know, I used to know this stuff... I'm working my way back into it...
