Default Looking for nu symbols

I am looking for the small greek symbol 'nu'(italic v) with a hat (^) on/above it. I've tried lots of fonts, including Charis SIL. Does anyone know of this symbol? As you can guess, I'm typing up equations! I'm writing directly into InDesign, using glyphs.
Thanks, Aylwen
