Default Acrobat 8 & Pitstop pro

Hi all -
Currently using Acrobat 6.06 with pitstop pro 6.51 (on Win XP Pro SP2).
Considering upgrade to Acro 8. Will PSP still work OK? I would guess it will, but wondered if anyone was using that combination successfully.

The existing set up does all I need it to, but occasionally (and increasingly) I receive PDFs from Acro 8 with the usual message about not opening correctly, prompting the question.

THX Alastair.
