My name is Derek MacDonald (obviously)
I've been around the industry for about 10 years now. Started off freelancing web and graphic design in high school. Moved on while in college to be an Art Director for a medical magazine publisher. Spent roughly 3 years there before moving onto a print shop in the largest liquor distributor in New York State. I am currently working here full time as a graphic designer & webmaster. Of course I still freelance to pay the bills ![]() Some of the equipment we use in-house is: • Canon 1120 (proofing) • Canon 8050 (production work-horse) • Canon 5000 (the old lady )• Canon BJ9000 (42" wide format) • Kodak 1120 (42" wide format) • Xerox Phaser 6100 Yes, we have alot of printers... yes we go through more than 100,000 copies in a month and more than 1000 yards of wide format paper in that same time. Very busy here, as you probably could imagine! |

Derek, glad to have you on the board. I wish I had access to that many printers...
