Default PHP Calendar Scripts

A member of our board suggested that a calendar would be a good idea. I'm looking for a nice inexpensive or free calendar in PHP. Flat file would be better than SQL at this point. Free is always nice, but if I can get it inexpensively, I'll definitely donate a little funds.

I've looked at Easy PHP Calendar by NashTech Inc., but I'm wondering if I'm missing anything. I'm also looking at PHP Calendar, which is free, but the default settings aren't particularly attractive. I've also seen PHP Event Calendar, which is free for non-commercial use, so that may be a nice option, too. I've looked at Active Calendar, but that just looks like a library (class) that would still require a lot of writing on my part. Anyone using some PHP calendars out there and have some suggestions, warnings, or other advice?

Carl
