After discussion and investigation, I downloaded the free Pegasus mail program, and its associated manual. I installed it, but I am having trouble getting it going. I want to have two "identities" to download mail for me and mail for a special email address I use for financial messages.
I see how to set up two identities. I have run the "Wizard" to enter the email address, password, and POP3 and SMTP parameters for Comcast. What I don't know is how to get Pegasus to go get the mail. Eudora has an icon for that, but I don't see one on Pegasus, nor am I quite sure that I have the two identities "David" and the other one, properly lined up with the two email addresses. As is often the case, the first few steps of a new program are sometimes the hardest ones to figure out. I have not found out what I need to know from the HELP, but next I will try the manual. |
