Default Women in (Western) art

A friend sent me to an especially effective YouTube video: Women in Art.

It shows slowly superimposing images of women’s faces — one by one, not all in a pile — as painted by mainly European artists over the centuries. A bit of a tour-de-force, and eerily beautiful, nicely accompanies by a Bach cello piece.

Definitely worth a few minutes of my time.
