Default Indesign Transparency problem

I'm new here so I should probably start by saying hi, HI!

I have a problem with InDesign CS2, I have placed a PSD (CMYK) in my layout, it's placed above a gradient. To create a shadow for the PSD I just greated a shape, feathered it and set the blending mode to multiply. I did not use the Drop Shadow feature. But when I export it to an PDF white lines appear where the shadow is, they are shaped like the object i feathered to get the shadow-effect. But when I dont use a gradient they doesn't appear. I've attached a jpeg displaying the problem.

Hope someone can help me,

Best Regards

Micke S.
