Studio photographers sometimes use muslin backdrops that are painted with a multicolor textured look. You can create your own electronic versions by using background brushes in Photoshop. And to help you do that, Troy Robinson posted a tutorial about how to create your own background brushes.

He also included a few brushes for you to download. These brushes are very large, and they change colors as you paint. This makes it easy to quickly work up a background.
