Default TTCs: how to handle them?

I've just encountered a TTC (TrueType collection): I'd downloaded Microsoft's Reader recently and had a number of new fonts or recent versions of existing fonts installed, including Berling and all Microsoft's new fonts made for Vista; all are conventional TTF fonts (though OpenType), except Cambria. The three variant forms of Cambria appeared, but no Cambria regular. However, Cambria regular was included in Word's font menu and 'Cambria Math'. The explanation was that the two fonts, regular and 'math' (that ought to be either 'math.' or 'maths'), had been installed as a TTC. Now, how do I separate the TTC into two TTFs that a font manager can cope with? ATM Deluxe can't recognize a TTC as a font.
