Default Books on type and printing

I just got a slender catalog from Oak Knoll Books that lists several interesting books on typography, printing, books, and related topics, some of them new to me. (Many of these titles are also available in the U.K. and Europe through The British Library.)
  • Book Typography: A designer’s manual by Michael Mitchell and Susan Wightman ($70)
    :::
  • Jan Tschichold, Designer by Richard B. Doubleday ($40)
    ::::
  • Edward Johnston: Master calligrapher by Peter Holliday ($50)
    ::::
  • The Enclyclopedia of the Book by Geoffrey Glaister ($75; $50 paperback)
    ::::
  • Five Hundred Years of Printing by S.H. Steinberg — a classic ($45; $30)
    ::::
  • American Metal Typefaces of the Twentieth Century by Mac McGrew — another classic ($50 paperback)
Oak Knoll is an antiquarian and used book dealer, specializing in the arts of the book. The books listed here are actually published by them.
