Default Ad tracking/trafficking & workflow managing

I have searched through the forums here and noticed that there was quite a robust discussion concerning creating an automated web based php / mysql application to track advertising from sales contract to press...

Last post (sept 2005) was hinting at DotProject and a module. Wondering if anything came from the idea? or if a module for Dot Project was created? or this is being worked on elsewhere?

I started working towards something like the "ultimate wish" using PHPBMS but quickly found AJAX overwhelming. I also found some holes in it that I could not overcome... mainly lack of support from the developers.

Does anyone know if anyone has created or is creating anything resembling the original idea of what amounts to an automated trafficker and workflow manager?

I think I saw DJB and KTinkell in the threads posting comments...

Thanks again
