Default Multilingual InDesign

Our company often handles multilingual DTP projects. The project we have now involves updating existing translations in simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The files are being supplied to us in Quark (Asian system). We are looking to convert these Quark files to InDesign. When opening the Quark files with the InDesign application, the file opens just fine, but we're unable to view the Asian fonts because they are incompatible with our CS2 InDesign. We would like to extract the text from the Quark files into Word or another format, so that we can flow the different language versions into InDesign.

Would anyone have any ideas on how to extract the Asian texts from Quark into a format that we can flow into InDesign?

Thanks!
