Default Printing in China ... 1979

Browsing around, I was pointed to the NOAA photo library, which has a huge collection of public domain photographs. One of their collections is the "Small world" collection, with images from all over the world - such as from China, they said. Which of course piqued my interest. Via a search for "China" I came back to the "Small world" collection, with a series of pictures taken in the fall of 1979 (many without description). One thumbnail without description available looked familiar though... (click) ... yes indeed: it's obviously a printer at work. Imagine how large those fonts must have been, all in lead type!

Just wanted to share that interesting find.
