Default Cater to how narrow a display?

Top Style has a nice drop-down for viewing a page at different resolutions, much better than changing my video card's display size. So what do we now consider the smallest resolution? I figure very few displays other than those little palm thingies is much lower than 800 X 600. According to TopStyle, my page now does OK at that but falls apart at 640 X 480.

Thanks,
Linda
