Inquiry about OCR/IDR solutions

Hello,

I am a freelance writer, working on an article concerning the state of OCR/IDR, specifically within the Accounts Payable community.

Though I can find plenty of 'pro' OCR/IDR stories and studies, I am really looking for AP folks, who have had a bad experience with OCR/IDR, or who have found that the implementation of the OCR/IDR solutions was more of a hassle than it was help in trying to streamline the AP invoice trail.

I'm not focusing on brand names of software, etc. I just want to get a fair and balanced look at OCR/IDR in 2006.

If there is anyone out there who works in AP, or if you know of a company who hasn't had the best experience after implementing their OCR/IDR solution, please post, or contact me via email.

My deadline is July 3rd. Any help is appreciated.
