Default Some of my fonts won't print from Quark.

Hi,
I am having a very unusual problem that I can't see any reason for.

Every year I design the companies product catalogue. Its about 300 pages and usually just needs a bit of a reshuffle and a few changes.

The way I approached it this year was to create a new project, set up my master pages then cut and paste all the stock items from my old project into the correct order in my new layout. This was all fine, however, I reopened the file yesterday and carried on adding new pages but mainly correcting the layout of the first 20 pages.

When I tried to print the file so far, for some reason it didn't print the page headers or image labels. The body text printed perfectly but these things didn't.

I can't see nay reason why not though. The page headers and image labels have printed fine on some pages just not all. The fonts haven't been substituted they have just left a blank space where the words should be. The fonts aren't corrupt either because they are used in the main body text as well.

The fonts in question are Cronos Pro, Cronos Pro Bold, Magnesium VB, and Arial Narrow. The first 3 are Open Type fonts that were bought from Adobe and Arial is a system font.

I've tried using Font Finangler and restarted my mac, I've created a .PDF by exporting my layout as .PDF and there are no words missing. I've tested the fonts in Word and they print out, and I've checked that none of the text boxes have suppress on output ticked.

Is there a setting I have missed? maybe I hit an F key that is stopping something from printing that appears perfectly on screen? Or is it a problem with my fonts? I use these fonts a lot and have never had a problem like this before. It just seems...... (to quote Mr Spock) illogical.

HAve I missed something silly? I hope someone knows.

Kirsty

B.T.W. I'm using Quark 6.5 on a G4 Quicksilver mac running Mac Os X 10.3.9 with no font management system installed other than Font Book that comes with Panther.
