Default Help! PDF Newsletter Doc

Hello everyone,
I hope that I am following the correct protocol, if not, please correct me. My question is: I write a small simple two column newsletter for a 50 member senior citizens club who are mostly on dial-up ISPs. I type it in Word and then convert to PDF, however many can't open the attachment because of the length of time it takes to download the file. Is there a way that I could put the four page, two column newsletter in the body of the e-mail clients so that it does not have to be downloaded? I have tried copy and then paste, but I lose my clip art and formatting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
