Default Adobe messenger bag . . .

. . . for those who have absolutely everything! A mere $250. will bring you a black nylon and leather bag with a wide load-distributing strap, designed to hold everything a “digital creative professional” needs to carry: 17-inch laptop with all the cables, bricks, and other paraphernalia, as well as sketchbooks, MP3 player, digital camera, cell phone, and more.

The bag has something called a “deployment rain hood” to protect against the weather, and a secure closure (not sure whether there is a lock on it).

It was designed by Medium Design Group using Adobe Creative Suite Software — the pattern was drawn at full size in Illustrator. Available from any Barney’s or on-line from the maker.

While I can see the usefulness of a bag for schlepping a big laptop, etc., this one, with its prominently embossed Adobe logo, looks like a thief magnet to me — like those gorgeous aluminum briefcases some photographers used to favor.
