Default What the heck is this tag?

Folks:

I'm working on a php script someone else wrote, and it's gotta lotta HTML in it to be rendered on a page. In between font font tags is a bizillion of these:

Code:
<o:p>
What the heck are those? They don't render on the page, which make the font tags that much more bewildering.

(BTW, I can't google that thing; it doesn't work.)

Thanks for any clues!
