Default weird CSS problem in IE6

I'm seeing a weird problem on my new site that I can't figure out. When you load the page in IE6, the nav buttons are floating above the main content area. When you mouseover, they jump down flush to the content box the way they're supposed to display.

It may be related to the size of the circular image, but haven't tested that much since I'm replacing that image this weekend. Of course, the page works perfectly in Firefox.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks,
