I've incorporated most of the comments about my new site though IGNORE THE IMAGES. I'll have a professional graphic artist doing the final versions, though the color choices should be similar if not the same.
Now the question... a candidate for local office is not a nonprofit or a commercial business. I've registered both the .com and .org version of the domain, but what's the best to publicly promote? In the past, my candidates have been fairly even... 3 or 4 of each. I've always leaned towards .org for a candidate, but the likely campaign manager leans the other way towards .com. Only advice I could find online was to register both so someone else couldn't (good advice these days since domain names are so cheap) but which do you think we should use? I have the site configured to work with both... my new hosting company is very slick once I learn my way around the knoweldge base. I've never had so much direct control over every setting. |
