Just ran into a new SEO reporting site. You can enter your URL and get a free report with comments.
It does not approve of use of any inline CSS (not sure what the SEO implications of that might be; seems to me mostly about ease of management), and counts points off for skipping header elements. And it suggests using the “rel="nofollow" anchor for outbound links. It also includes a Lynx text browser in which you can see what text-only readers are seeing. I ran it on our front page, which it almost likes (we got 80 out of 100 — the nuns would say it is a C+). Among the good things about our page noted in the report: It has 300 or more (unique) words and weighs in at less than 10KB. If you try it on your sites, I will be interested in hearing what you think of the quality of this tool, and what it thinks of your site! __________________ :: |
