Default Useful essays...

Someone on the colorsync list mentioned Brian Lawler's essay site and there are a lot of different essays on print production and color management and other goodies...

The url will take you to his "rules" page which basically says to feel free to download his essays but don't be rude and try and use them for publication...

Anyway, just click on the "GO" and that will take you to his essay list...

Some of his essays:

"Why your Photoshop color separations are wrong-and how to fix the problem"

"Automating Acrobat Distiller with hot folders"

"Ask Mis Punctuation (advice for the punctuation-challenged)"

"How to embedded ICC profiles help to get the color right"

"Years of upheaval in the graphic arts--this is not the printing industry of 1985!"

Enjoy!
