Default Need help with .htaccess

Folks:

I can only do the very easiest redirects in .htaccess; anything slightly complicated and I pull my hair out and cry like a baby while reaching for a martini. Help me with this, please?

I've got press releases all over the net, and they have a link in them to a /pr directory on my site. Some of these press releases apparently have control chars in them, as I keep getting requests for:

/public_html/pr/
Contact: or
/public_html/pr/%e2%80%a8Contact:

I suuuure would like to be able to redirect these to /pr/index.shtml, but I have no idea how to make a RewriteRule that essentially says, "Anything with /pr/ in it, redirect it here." And all those control chars, I don't know how to escape 'em. I just want any request coming in for the /pr directory to go to the same place, no matter how funky it is.

Thanks for any tips!
