Dave Ramsey, former Apple employee and hardware guru extraordinaire, has written a positive review of his new Mac G5 at Snarkish. This is not the only positive review on this machine, but Ramsey is uniquely qualified to judge Mac hardware reliably.

And he is pragmatic, pointing out why most of us would be happy with the G5 Dual at 60% of the cost. He seems to think these are the last “real” Macs before the Intel variety.

Anyway, his expertise and evident enthusiasm make this a lovely review to read. Apple describes the new dual-core processor G5 Macs if you need more detailed information.
