Default InDesign 4 process inks for mono book

Hi!
When I Preflight some of the chapters in a mono black book (in InDesign CS under Mac OSX), I'm getting a message that it's using four process inks. I can find no colour in these chapters. There is one four-colour swatch (white, made up of 0% of each of CMYK), but this swatch also appears in those chapters where Preflight reports just one process ink.
Any suggestions?
Best wishes, Adrian
