Default Page imposition in Quark 6.5?

I am exasperated. I threw together a rush job for a client (very simple 16-pager, 8.5 x 11 pages, no bleeds, no gutter jumping elements) in Quark 6.5 for Windows and provided a PDF that they sent to their printer (I didn't know who was printing it until late this afternoon).

Now (I got an e-mail from the printer this evening) the printer wants a PDF set up in printer's spreads, on 17 x 11 pages.

I don't have any Quark XTensions for page imposition. I am too cranky to do it manually, which would be a real PITA because there are no page numbers, so it would be troublesome to get the pages in the right places.

Anyone know any tricks for doing the page imposition? I don't think there's any way to do it in Acrobat, so it's gotta be done in Quark.
